Insert Images & get to know adoc Coach

Images and other visualizations are an absolute added value for your texts. You can insert them in adoc Studio with just a few clicks and place them exactly where you need them.

Inserting Images

You can insert images in the classic ways:

  • Drag & Drop: Drag the image directly to the desired text position.

  • Copy & paste: Copy the image with ⌘+C and copy it to the desired location with ⌘+V

All images are now also saved in the media folder. The folder can be viewed in the sidebar. If you want to change the file name of your image, for example, you should change it in the media folder. A window will then open and suggest that you automatically adjust the file name in all instances in the text. This is important so that the image can be displayed correctly.

Adjusting images with the adoc Coach

In AsciiDoc there are a large number of parameters for adjusting images. In order not to lose track of the number, we advise you to use our completion menu "adoc Coach".

By clicking on the ESC button, the menu opens and immediately gives you all the parameters that are possible at the current text position. These can be AsciiDoc elements or, for example, if you click on ESC between the brackets of an image, parameters for image design.
